JULY UPDATE PATCH NOTES

 

FOOTBALL FEVER GAME MODE

Set in our all new arena, Fantasy Island. Tired of pushing lanes, destroying towers, or killing enemies? That's all right, we are liberating you from the traditional MOBA gameplay! With Football fever mode try out these 4 minute 3V3 matches on the go. We have also added some new skills for each hero — Kick, Block, and Gravity.

Kick: This ability is highly flexible as it can be used to shoot, as well as to pass the ball, allowing you to coordinate with your teammates.

Block: This ability can be used to stop the opposing team's offense in its tracks. As everyone knows, an impenetrable defense is crucial for victory! 

The New Ult: Are you falling behind? Are you discouraged? This is where the new ultimate in the game, Gravity comes to play. Working together with our new Morale system, the trailing team will be given more chances to cast Gravity.

Confused which side is yours? Don’t worry, we have made it simpler for you. In this mode, your goal will appear blue, while your opponent’s goal will appear to be red. Hence, you never have to worry about kicking the ball in the wrong direction. In addition to that, there is all new weather system for football mode that adds a whole new dimension to the AoV experience. 

No Ranged Heroes: Since their normal attacks would allow them to kick the ball from afar, confusing other players as to who kicked the ball and from where, we have decided to leave out all ranged heroes.

  

NEW HERO AND SKINS 

This update will also see the launch of a new hero, Tulen in the Indian server, who will also have a football fever themed skin. Apart from that, football-themed skins for Murad, Xeniel, and Max will also be launched.

 

 

BUTTERFLY NEW LOOK

  

MORE BANS IN DIAMOND RANK AND ABOVE 

In preparation of the new season beginning on July 1st, matches in Diamond rank and above will now have two bans per team.

 

 

AOV TV 

The ability to chat while watching a livestream or replay has now been added.

 

BATTLE CHANGES 

We've increased the attributes of minion waves so that they are not so easy to clear in the late stages of a match. Previously, minions grew stronger over the course of 20 minutes. Now, they will increase in strength over the course of 30 minutes.

 

AUDIO IMPROVEMENTS

System sounds and in-game voice chat have been optimized.

 

BUG FIXES

- fixed a bug in which turning the joystick clockwise and counterclockwise increased and decreased the spin speed when Omega would use his Ultimate ability

- fixed a bug in which the effective range of Krixi's Ultimate ability was different from the ability indicator
